TRIBECA: A NEIGHBORHOOD RETROSPECTIVE BY STUYVESANT HIGH SCHOOL
More than 100 Stuyvesant High School students took part in a unique photography competition sponsored by art enthusiasts Mitchell and Gregg Rechler of R Squared Real Estate Partners. Each student submitted a black/white and a color photo creatively capturing unique images of the historic TriBeCa community. The photos were judged by a panel including local commercial photographer, Ed Lederman. The top ten photos selected will be on display at the 34 Leonard Sales Gallery located at 24 Leonard Street (Leonard Street between West Broadway and Hudson Street.) The free exhibit, titled TriBeCa: A Neighborhood Retrospective, will be open to the public every Saturday, starting the week of December 16th through January 10th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. The works featured are: New Jersey Gold Coast by Philip Kraus; TriBeCa Street by Jack Fleming; Car Passing Garage by Paul Han; Building by Alberto Arias; Graffiti Luxury Loft Sign by Michael Ng; Couple Playing Instruments with Dogs by Maria Pervnovic; Market Flowers by Emily Koenig; Decaying Statue by Ashley Seenauth; Woman with Boy by Steven Arroyo; and Park Bench by Mun Cheng (Rebecca) Kwan. In addition to the free exhibit, the top three students were awarded new digital SLR cameras to continue their creative work.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SENIORS
The deadline for submitting your final college selections was December 16th. Every senior must verify that the College Office has received the complete, accurate list of colleges to which you are applying. You can access this list by logging in to your Stuy Student Tools account and clicking on the link "Check on the Status of your Application Documents" at the bottom of the page. Just as a reminder, it is important for you to verify this information because the College Office sends your Transcript, current schedule, and SSR Guidance Counselor Letter of Recommendation to these colleges only. If your college list is inaccurate, then come to the College Office Room 225 immediately.
